JOG is a yacht club with a difference. Established in 1950 to allow smaller yachts to compete offshore, it organises highly competitive races for IRC rated yachts.
JOG runs a full programme every season grouped into an inshore and offshore series. Competitors enjoy a high standard of racing and a similarly high level of camaraderie at the parties which take place at the end of almost every race in a host port – just one of the many things that gives JOG a very special personality as a club.
Due to our Fastnet campaign in 2013, we will only be entering the following JOG inshore races.
Sat 13 April – Nab Tower – Join us aboard Friday evening for a 08:30 start.
Two races in one weekend!
Sat 18 May – Cowes-Yarmouth – Join us aboard Friday evening for a 10:00 start.
Sun 19 May – Yarmouth-Cowes – Return race, after an evening sampling the watering holes of Yarmouth.
