Race Report: Winter Series Week 6

The weather for this week’s sail always looked light. The forecast from Friday was showing what little the wind there was, dying to nothing by lunch time. We only had 6 crew, but this would be good if the wind did fill in.
We had to go out to the start line just incase the committee managed a race, after having lost the first race day to no wind and then the 4th to crew members running Abingdon marathon.
All racing for the day was abandoned at 11:55 because of No Wind. Hopefully we will race the next two weekends, allowing the 2 discards to kick in; a rule meaning that once you’ve finished over 8 races, you can discard your worst results.
